Studs Lonigan

The film adaptation of author James T. Farrell's Studs Lonigan trilogy takes place in the slums of Chicago's South Side in the 1920s. It centers on the growing pains of the eponymous hero, including his tempestuous relationship with his father, his attempts to make easy money with his buddies, and his randy ways with the two women in his life. Studs has a lot of growing up to do, and the way he handles these and other situations may very well determine what kind of man he will become...

The Terror

A young officer in Napoleon's army (Jack Nicholson) pursues a mysterious woman to the castle of an elderly Baron (Boris Karloff) where he discovers that she is the pawn of an old witch bent on driving the Baron to suicide. Directed by Roger Corman, with the aide of such friends like Francis Ford Coppola, this movie was filmed in only four days. Corman, who is notorious for his unique style of filmmaking, continues to entertain with this creepy, yet delightful film.

The Wild Ride

This black and white cult classic stars Nicholson as a rebellious punk to the beat generation, who spends his days as amateur dirt track race car driver in between partying and trouble making. He eventually kidnaps his ex-buddy's girlfriend, kills a few police officers and finally sees his own life in tragedy. The Wild Ride is a must see for Nicholson fans!

Little Shop Of Horrors

Classic black comedy about a young schnook who develops a bloodthirsty plant and is to kill in order to feed it. Directed by Roger Corman, this film was the basis for the later hit stage musical. Interestingly enough, Jack Nicholson plays a small role in this classic horror film.
